Wiring up alternator
I'm at the point where I need to wire up my alternator. It's from a daihatsu note and it has 3 wires. One thick, and then two thinner ones
that are together on a connector block.
When I first got my kit on the road I didn't do the alternator wiring so I realised I've not done one before T_T
Does one go to my battery and another go to a charge light? What can I use for a charge light, something I can pick up from local motor factors? Need
it explaining as if it's aimed at a 3 year old who likes to put crayons up his nose.

Spot on, thank you!
What can I use for a charge light? (not sure what's suitable/if it has to be a certain rating etc) And what's it for? Just to tell you
that the alternator is working and charging the battery?
