R1 ECU

So, I have discovered that my engine is a 2006 model. I am trying to source a non-immobilised ECU, all the ones I can find have one plug whereas mine has 2!!????

Do I need the short loom to go with it???

My current ECU is:

Denso, 2D1-8591A-50 (top number)

Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

We could do with a picture of the ecu and loom you currently have, out of the 20+ R1's i''ve wired up, no 04-06 ecu had more than 1 ecu plug.

If you post a picture it may help identify your set up

As Chris says 5VY ECU def single long plug. you have prob been stiffed with your engine and seller just chucked in a ECu for older model.
US ECU (non Immob country) is easiest way to go. If you have the right 5vy loom, again as Chris has said, this can be adadpted to match up. If you want a plug and play you can get the US loom as well yank ECU if you want.
cheers D

What clocks you got / going to use?
