Yes, I believe you do.

I believe you also need a low fluid level warning light too.

On most production cars, the same light is used for both

Hi,
I don't have one and passed fine
You do need a low brake fluid warning light that can be tested with the ignition off.
Cheers

With the ignition off? Is that a fact?

I think thats wrong, never come across a car with a brake fluid warning that lights or can be tested with the ignition off.

No handbrake warning light required, though the brake fluid bulb test is usually miss-interpreted as that function as it's where most manufacturers put the test switch.

You do not need a handbrake warning light..
You do need a brake fluid level warning light, this should have a test switch as well as a warning light.
Most manufacturers use a switch on the hand brake so when you turn the ignition on it glows, when you drop the hand brake it goes off..... Unless the fluid level is low then it stays on.
No it does not illuminate when the ignition is off or it would glow all the time.
