bike engine starter motor current
im redoing some of my wiring at the mo, one of the bits im planning to change is the starter solenoid, all of the other bits tied though it have been
removed and so now i want to get rid of it as there is no decent way to mount it.
ive found a few high current relays but i need to know how much it is likley to draw (i also want to try use slightly smaller wire if its low enough
current)

You need a relay rated for at least 100amps asit is switching an inductive load - personally I would feel safer with 200a relay.
