Wiring up a Honda 2L Prelude Denso alternator
Hi guys, wonder if somebody could help me with wiring up my alternator, have just bought this honda 2L prelude denso alternator from the bay (link
below) and it's turned up and has 4 connector pins, the sites I've looked at just mention 2 or 3 pin variants so have I bought a wrong
one?
Ebay Linky
I currently am using a standard sierra alternator on the pinto but getting ready for my zetec upgrade in the winter, made a bracket for the
alternator, just hope it doesn't flex
Cheers
Rich

Found a prelude manual so should be ok!
Not sure what the abreiveations mean, will have to google more tomorrow unless some bright spark knows the answers to the following q's.
B = Battery
C = ? ECM ? (Does it need to be connected?)
IG = Ignition Live (is the relay necesary?)
L=Charge Lamp
FR = ? ECM ? (Does it need to be connected?)
Cheers

I certainly haven't come across that Denso version - my best guess would be that the ECM connections are not required if you are not using the
original ECU. The majority of Denso alternators seem to just have B,IG & L connections.
