Redundant wiper stalk
Someone somewhere must have had this.
I've got a Sierra Saphire (saloon) column and have decided against fitting a windscreen. The problem is that I'd rather not have a useless
stalk on the column (wiper switch) and don't particularly want to have a hole where there used to be a useless stalk either. Has anyone got any
suggestions?

why not use it to fire rearward facing missiles - ala clint eastwood in Firefox?

or oil slick release, or bullet proof screen, or radiator grille machine gun. the choice is yours really.
pop up vanity mirror control?
dashboard mounted gameboy joystick?
talking point?
control for making the car bounce up and down on its suspension like they do in all the best gettos?
drinks feed ala formula one into the helmet?
you can find a use for it surely?

If you're using the top mounted hazard switch and light switch stalk, you'll only need one switch on your dash for the fog. Why not wire
the wiper stalk to the fog so you can do away with all switches on the dash?
You could also use the same stalk to release an oil slick from the back of the car, a smoke screen for going through speed cameras and an ejector seat
for passengers.
How's that?

Like that idea. There are only three positions on the switch though, so may have to drop the fog light.

even if there is an alternate use for it, it would still be intensely disliked for having a picture of a wiper on it. Sorry to be picky and all.

I'd just know. It would be too much. It would nag at the back of my mind, it would get bigger and sooner or later It would cause the end of
existance as we know it... or just a nagging feeling at the back of my mind.

Covered the wiper functions of the switch lever with black heatshrink and using the washer button on the end for the horn. I will post a pic tonight
if I get time.

I used T-cut to rub out the rear screen wiper pic on my stalk. Couple of mins hard rubbing and it's gone!
All in the wrist action!
