Penny Garth cafe Hawes or Hartside?

I just checked the weather tomorrow and the North West looks dry morning and wet afternoon.

So decided to have a leisurely run out in the morning. Been to Hartside but not Hawes, what's that like for grub and scenery around it?

Grubs good in Hawes. Cafe on the main street with lots of bikes outside.

Go either from Ingleton or Settle. Beware of the blind crests in the road from Settle, there's usually a bend.

Probably the BBC, they are often pretty random in my experience.

To be fair, even the Granada local weather at 11 whatever pm last night said it should start off fairly bright, turning wet later on. I prefer to take notice of the cr*ppiest forecast and if then doesn't rain, hail, snow, gales, it's a pleasant bonus!

Granada forcast and particularly Fred are useless I find. Friday night he said it would rain most of Sat.
