Fiat Cinquecento main beam flash problem

I'm using a fiat cincuecento steering column and the column switches on my build and I'm about to graft them into my loom. I've found the wires that go to the dimmer switch. Green goes in. Blue to the main beam, grey to the dipped. No connection is made for a main beam flash though. The stalk moved forwards and backwards but the wires are not connected.

Can someone with a fiat confirm that the main beam stalk is supposed to flash the lights if you pull it?

There is no flash that I am aware of on either the old (from experience) or newer type (from my manual)switches

A bit of internet searching shows there is an extra feed for the flash, which seems a bit odd. Mine all work now.
