TPS are normally just potentiometer so 3 wires. A B and C

You will need something that can measure resistance (Ohm Meter).

Measure the resistance between a pair of leads as you open and close the throttle. The pair that don't change with throttle movement will be the two ends of the potentiometer. We can call them A and B.

Next measure the resistance between the other lead (C) and each of these two ends in turn with the throttle closed. You want the lead where the resistance increases as the throttle is opened we can call this A.

So A is going to go to earth, B to 5v and C is the TPS signal that goes to the ECU.

Probably totally unclear, but maybe it will help!

Matt
