Caterham R/C Car
Was in M & S today they have brought back the Caterham R/C car, even better it's half price at 9.75. Somebody on here did a fantastic job
of painting it to look like his own car. I fancied doing it but they had run out after Christmas, have one now so a nice job for the winter.

Oh dear......this is soooooooooooo last year!
(Mines a year old now....)
Never mind just painting it, you have to take it all to bits
and re-work it to make it an exact replica of your '7' .....even down to the scoops/bonnet bulge...
roll cage and paint 'Stig' in your own suit/helmet colours (if applicable)..........
Then put it all back together again.....and make sure the RC still works!!!!!!
I dunno...men!.....'just paint it'.....pah!!!!!!!!!! .....they always want to take the easy way out........
Fozzie
Edit to add.....you also have to make the dash an exact replica of your own too!
Look in my photo archive, folder along the top called 'Minime Fozzmobile' .....

Just looked at your pics fozzie it looks brill!! What did you use for the rollcage? I'm thinking of kidding the MK to look like the model lol I
think the controller would be a bit big though oh and your wheels don't match the model

Just the question I was about to ask, I have bought one for my 4 year old and plan to make it a copy of my car (except for the nose cone!!)

Roll cage was made out of brass ....
Bonnet hinge as per Fozzmobile made out of solder wire.....
The wheels? no they are sadly not the same, but the colours are......
(gold middle and silver).......just a wee bit of artistic licence ...

There are two of these nice little cars in Hungary now, too! Just had mines brought over by a colleague.
Let me see if winter is long enough to turn one of them into an MNR lookalike...
Thanks for the tip guys!
