Quick Wiring Question please
Evening all,
A quick wiring question please, what amp wire do i need to run from my battery to my ignition switch? Would 25 amps be ok (this wire would not have
cranking amps running through it)
All the best
Alex
I love Pinto's, even if i did get mine from P&O!

What tributary circuits do you have downstream? Add up the amps and you'll have your answer..

im running a 12v ign supply hub from the ignition switch, this will then feed the switches on the dash.

Low Pressure Fuel Pump,
headlights & indicators,
fan,
horn,
rear lights etc

If you are powering them all directly then no it will not be enough.
If you are using them as a mixture of direct loads and/or for switching relays then perhaps it'd be enough.
You really need to work it all out on paper
P=V*I
V=I*R
etc.
If it looks wrong it probably is wrong.

You say feeds the switches, which of these are wired with relays?
As said this needs to be a bit scientific and is actually quite pivotal in the way your car wiring is designed
