wiring the rear of the car, whats easiest?

whats the easiest way to wire the rear of the car? should i buy a multicore cable and run it alont the tunnel to the back end then split it to each item? if so how many cores do i need and what csa of cable do i need? cheers.
i would imagine i need on the lighting side
1;ground
2;stop.
3;tail
4;fog
5;reverse
6;left indicator
7;right indicator

then also for fuelling
1;ground
2;fuel pump feed
3;level sender feed

is this correct? do i need different sizes for fuel pump+sender compared to lights? cheers

I managed to get everything needed at the back onto a single section of trailer board cable (7-core cable) as you suggest and it work out very neat. I just have to swap one between the fog lamp and LED rain light depending on what the car is being used for at the time! I do have a local ground point though which frees up a core.

I now need to determine whether one core is of sufficient gauge to run the injection pump, which might be something to consider.

You don't need the earths in the loom. Connect them to chassis earth points at the back. The pump requires heavier cable but not the sender unit.

There is a school of thought that you should run separate stop and tail cores for each side and they should be separately fused as well. That way, if the fuse goes for some reason, you will hopefully have one side still working. Same principle applies to wiring the front side, main and dip lights.
