Fitting a Savage push start button, do I need a relay and if so which is the best to get?

you don't need a relay to start a car just run a ignition live to one side of the switch (a flick switch like you would use for washers) and the other to the starter solenoid. i have in the past used a hidden micro switch to start a car...

I forget the current rating of the switch but I made sure it wouldn't have any trouble with the load of the solenoid by connecting both sides of the microswitch in parallel. It has worked for 5 years like this with no problems.
