KOSO digidash problems
just got round to fitting my new KOSO digi dash..
Now, obviously these are ment for bikes or quads so my first question is
How do I sort out the speed sensor as its meant to go on the bikes brake rotor (the magnet) so where do we put the magnets on the car ??
Also,, cant get the REV counter to work
Also,, Cant get the fuel gauge to work properly.
In the instructions it say that u need only the fuel sender NEGATIVE not the POS.. My car had ETB gauges before I bought these.. would this have used
the Fuel sender NEGATIVE or POSITIVE ??
TIA Alan

the magnet can go on your gearbox propshaft flange, or even on the front wheel on the inside of the rim, just make a small bracket to fit the sensor
onto the upright

On my zx9 I connected the Koso rev feed to the rev counter feed from the engine sensor. Not sure on the blade but assuming the original rev counter
was electronicand not a drive cable then you should be able to find it from a wiring diagram. Otherwise the Koso instuctions I had gave a couple of
option of picking up a feed from a coil or HT lead?
Can't recall the fuel sender connection unfortunately. I was using a honda sender though, blackbird I think.
I fitted 4 of the magnets to one drive shaft (diff end) and the speed sensor on a bracket from the upper diff mount. Cable back down the tunnel.
Suppose it could go on the prop to diff flange to negate the issue of different readings when cornering.

got everything sorted today aswell as put my new dash in..
Few little niggles tho...
Cannot seem to find the wire on the clocks for Dipped beam or Hazard
also.. cannot get the fuel gauge to display correctly...Seems like it doesnt show fully filled and Im not too sure that its accurate enough to let it
tell me Im low on fuel
Other than that its a reallly good gauge and great value for money..
