towar wiring help needed 2003 vectra. 12v supply?

i am connecting up my tow bar trailer connector today using one of these specially designed relay boxes to stop the ecu from bieng damages.( i have heard a few horror stories whenn tapping directly into car loom)
i have connected the 7 core trailer flex up fine, i have also spliced into the loom and connected up all indicators, brake, tail, fog and reverse lights. i have 2 wires left from the relay module which need connecting
1 is the chassis earth point
1 is the other reverse wire.
i need to know if the vectra reverse switch wire is + or - as this means it needs connecting to either an earth or the 12v in-put

i also need to get a 12v feed to the unit so where is the best place for this to come from.the relay box is in the boot but i suppose worst case scenario is a 12v feed from cigarette lighter in front of car?

IIRC the tech guy at Towsure is pretty generous with his advice if you don't have any luck on here.
HTH.

On my Mondeo, i ran a seperate wire from the fuse box, that is under the passenger side glove box,

under the carpet, by pulling up the door rubbers and just threading it through and up around the rear seats under the plastic shrouds

Ive also added a fuse at each end to allieviate any chaffing problems, and a possible electrical problems
