indicators flash speed with engine on

Just noticed that my indicators flash faster the more the engine revs. please could someone let me know how to fix it?

im sure im not the first one with this problem

sounds like a regulator problem causing too much voltage.Meter test the voltage across the battery at idle and high speed.I assume that your flasher unit is loaded correctly with the right wattage bulbs.Alternatively slow down or dont indicate at high speed

Before doing anything to the flasher system I would put a voltmeter across the battery and check the battery/charging voltage at various RPM conditions.

put my meter on the battery and its consistent, doesnt go up and down much when increasing engine speed.
