Anyone used these rear lights?

Im looking for some rear lights, i have found these, and they seem good value/quality.

but can anyone tell me how they are mounted? do i need a pod? or are they self mounted?

They have a backing plate:

I've got them with these outers. There's a mounting plate for the back to either attach to the outer lamp or mount seperatly. I switched the bulbs of silvered ones instead of the amber.

Thanks, do they protude out of the other side much?

As with a 7 they need to go on the wheel arches.

I made a pod for mines and fibreglassed them into the rear wing. if you don't they will be very close to the tyres.






If it looks wrong it probably is wrong.
