My Mondeo ST TDCI, 54 plate Panther black
.
Hi all,
I am selling my Mondeo.
Spec & Details:
Panther Black Mondeo ST TDCI
2 former keepers
Mot: October 20th 2011 (but I will add a year on for the new buyer at my cost)
Tax: I just put 6 months on ( but cheap tax bracket at £165 a year)
HPI Clear
108,000 miles
It had a brand new set of injectors as part of the deal when I bought it.
Air con (stone cold), electric windows with total closure, 6 cd head unit, cruise control, multi function steering wheel, etc etc
The car has full service history, with a stamped book and receipts and unused spare key.
Since owning it, it has had:
- A full engine service
- 4 wheel alignment with print out
- Genuine Eibach springs from Ford
- 4 wheel alignment
- Brand new complete stainless exhaust turbo back, had a system made including a decat and a flexi pipe from stainless mated to a genuine Ford ST220
back box (notice back box in pics)
- New reverse sensor
- Set of genuine floor mats
- EGR removed & cleaned out
- 4 new jacking point covers from Ford, then painted at a bodyshop
- New Intercooler hose, also genuine ford
- Genuine ford Chrome fog light rings
- Italian leather gear gaitor
- Brand new front grille, both sections and painted the top one satin black
- Bottom bumper grille and bar painted moondust silver
- Black headlight Mod (paint the silver internal bits black)
- I took this car to Germany in June, so kitted out the boot with EU requirements, first aid kit, hi viz and fire extinguisher they will be staying
too (you can see them in the boot pic)
All of the above was bought by me, all from Ford and everything has its receipts.
I put brand new Continental contact sport 3's on the rear when I bought the car, so have done a few thousand miles only, the fronts are also
conti sport 2's and they have 4mm ish.
The car drives spot on, starts exactly as it should every time and never had a problem with it at all, I stand by this car 100%.
The only bad points are some stone chips on the front bumper, and the left side skirt has a split in it (pictured, new jack point cover in car) and
the wheel lacquer has peeled as usual.
Priced to sell at £4100, I'm not really after a PX but I would consider one.

Nice looking car. As a matter of interest how did you paint the inside of the sealed headlights?
My 2.2 Mondeo is the most reliable and comfortable car I have ever owned and in 160k the only replacements are front springs and rear wheel bearings (
we live up a farm road and I tow a 2 tonne trailer). Also on This tears camping trip to the alps we averaged 50 mph on mountain roads - I reccon your
car is a good buy for someone.
Cheers!
You'd be surprised how quickly the sales people at B&Q try and assist you after ignoring you for the past 15 minutes when you try and start a
chainsaw

Nice car but hows about putting dates to things rather than referring to 'when I bought it' and 'since owning', but never
actually saying how long you've owned it!
Good luck with the sale.
