Speedo calibration number
In my speedo calibration instructions it says that the calibration number = number of magnets x diff ratio x tyre revs per km/mile
Now surely seeing as a mile and a kilometre are different distances, the number of tyre revs per mile will be different to the number of revs per km,
giving 2 different calibration numbers?! In which case, anyone have any idea which to use? My speedo is calibrated in mph if that helps?

It will be proportional.
The amount of revolutions per KM will be in relation to the amount of revolutions per mile.
Hope that makes sense to you, I just wrote it and it doesn't to me.....

It didn't make any more sense the second time either. It must mean km or mile depending on which it reads in, miles in your case.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Cheers, that's what I've assumed, I'll just have to see how accurate it is when I get it to SVA I guess
