megasquirt wire size

Evening all I have bought a second hand megasquirt EFi
which is designed to be plug and play to replace the original ford ECU
I want to remove the ecu part of it and make it a standard megaquirt..

can anyone tell me what diameter/amp cable I should use please

Thanks in Advance

Gavin

Most of the cable is low power, standard cable fine, check requirements but I think power in is rated at 7amps very light
Any doubt match the leads from the squirt to the ford ecu plug
VR sensor should be shielded, I have some.

max output is 10 amp on the injector and ignition wires. the rest can all be thin as they are virtually all signal wires.

on my car i used 16.5amp 1mm thin wall cable for the injectors and ignition the rest i just used 11amp 0.5mm thin wall.

Just built a MS loom.

You should use 0.5mm thin wall cable for all of the wiring, except for the injectors and coil which uses 1.0mm thin wall cable.

The injectors and coil take more current.

I can email you a spread sheet with the wiring loom details, colours where they connect and size if you U2U me your email.
