Bike battery FUBAR
The bike battery on the MK has gone flat, no life what so ever, my fault as I haven't been in garage since just before Christmas.
It doesn't light up the bike battery charger,so that's a non starter, but the car charger does, and starts to charge it.
Do I let the car charger put some charge in,and then try the bike charger again, let the car charger do it's worst or bin the battery?

Depends a lot on the battery chemistry a lot batteries with "enhanced" lead acid chemistry are almost impossible to bring back from a
no-charge state. You might get it back to life with hi-tech chargers that jolts the battery with 21v pulses at the start of the charge cycle.
If it is a conventional battery just try a long charege (36+ hours) at the lowest possible current setting.
Personally I would ditch the battery even if you get it back to life the charge capacity will havebeen severly reduced bad enough on a car battery
but a disaster on a bike battery.
Every time you take more than 1/3 charge out of a battery it reduces the total charge capacity of the battery when recharged.
Also when a battery is discharge to any degree and left without immediate recharging then there will be some % damage to the battery charge storage
capacity

Thanks chaps, all good advice. Heave it in the bin I think, the annoying thing is, it's never been used in anger.
Another annoying thing is, it's been hooked up to an Oxford conditioning charger since I got it, I ran the engine to empty the float bowls
beginning of December and forgot to reconnect. Doh!

what a pain!
At least you know with a bit of notice, so you are't forced to pay rip off halfords prices like I was when a few days before a track day I went
to check it over.
Bet you wont forget again though

Only reason that looks a good buy is that Halfords prices are truly outrageous to start with.
