2.0 blacktop to omex 600

sorry if these questions have been asked before,
I have tried the search facility, but with an internet connection that keeps dropping out decided to just instead

I have the wiring diagram from Omex but still have a few questions.

1. on a 2.0 blacktop there is a sensor on the back of the head near the inlet manifold, cam position sensor maybe... where does this go on the omex

2. Is there a knock sensor on the engine, seen posts saying its on the block under inlet manifold, but cant remember seeing one (not with engine at the moment)

3. Where do I put the air temp sensor

4. As it non turbo does that mean I dont need the MAP

5. where have people run the road speed sensor wires too..

6. And finally does anyone have a wiring diagram for the omex to gsxr 750 k1 k2 throttle bodies..

sorry for all the questions but the car is stored about half hour away so like to go over there armed with everything I need.....

Thanks in advance
Gavin

Its the cam phase sensor You wont need it unless you are going sequential injection. 600 doesnt do this anyway.

2. Is there a knock sensor on the engine, seen posts saying its on the block under inlet manifold, but cant remember seeing one (not with engine at the moment)

May be one on the last of the black tops (focus), ive never seen one.

3. Where do I put the air temp sensor

Into the air box/filter

4. As it non turbo does that mean I dont need the MAP

Itb's will be maped on Tps so you wont need map

5. where have people run the road speed sensor wires too..

Have you got an electrical speed sensor ? again can be maped with out.

6. And finally does anyone have a wiring diagram for the omex to gsxr 750 k1 k2 throttle bodies..

Do a search, There is a how to on working it out. Years since I have done one so cant rememper of the top of my head.

1. No need for the Omex as said, batch injection...

2. I had one on mine, asked Northampton motorsport.. no use in our application..

3. My air temp sensor is on the filter back plate, befoe that iwas just tied to TB's.

4. Non turbo = TPS

5. Not required really...

6. Not sure what you mean there.. the TB's have no wires aprt from the TPS...

Hope that helps.

A switched live to the injectors and the ecu earths them.

tps will be 5v from the ecu, an earth and a the signal wire back to the ecu.

To clarify? Omex advise a single switched/'ignition on' live to injector rail, divides into two and each sub-division divides again to supply either 1&4 or 2&3 injectors.
The ECU earths them in pairs 1&4 and 2&3. So each pairs earth wires can be joined together and connected to the ECU by the brown wire for 1&4 and the white wire for 2&3.
