clear lense for rear fog?
as per title, can i do it? i've just fitted the clear rear lights to my MK as supplied by MK but i'm wondering if i can do the same for
the fog light?
mothers managed to tidy the sva book away somewhere so at the moment i can't find that!
any info would be very good indeed
thanks

Can't you change the lens after SVA?

I think as long as the lense has the correct marking's and shows as red when on it shouldnt be a problem
But ive never seen clear foglights on the rear before!

As long as it resembles a fog light and is perpendicular to the road, is brighter than the brake light shouldn't be a problem.
However, Steve@SVC informed me once that the brake light on certain lenses and the fog light on
certain lenses are marked up as B and F respectively. I've noticed the brake light reflector is often a satin finish. Whereas the fog light is
highly polished.

I was following a Vauxhall Vivanco van today and they have a clear lens over a red lens for what appeared to be the fog light.
