rx8 clocks
Ok i apolagies in advance for if this seems a daft question but due too seeing a friends idea to use a mazda rx8 handbrake for his set up on his
build. well it got me thinking what is needed to use the clocks from a rx8 as they are cheap enough of ebay. or is it a case they are only used with
the original ecu and no good to piece together for my pinto like you would a digi dash
Any help to settle my odd ideas would help.

I would guess that they are CANbus so chances are the clocks would be mated to the ECU. Anything is possible but you neef time and knowledge, or
money. You could always butcher the Mazda clocks to put more suitable innards in.

was thinking about stripping them but unsure as id have the time but not sure about funds as may work out dearer than a digi dash.
