Battery help
Hi guys,
I've got a small retop 25 battery on my car, it seems to have lost all charge when I left fuel pump on too long. The lights still work etc.....
But cannot start car.
Just put trickle charger on it but it's not detecting that the battery needs charging, could the voltage be too low to pick it up?
Any tips on sorting it or anyone had that issue?
Thanks

Yes it could be connect another battery too it with a set of jump leads and then connect charger to the flat battery and leave for an hour then
hopefully it will get it going if so disconnect jump leads and charge your battery.normally works!!!!!

I have a super clever charger that recently started doing this. As this didn't used to happen when the odyssey was new and doesn't happen
with normal car batteries I suspect the battery may be on the way out. Certainly doesn't hold a charge as well as it did and won't start
the car if left for a month.
I connect a standard 12v car battery to the odyssey with jump leads, pos to pos and neg to neg, and charge the both of them for an hour. Then remove
the standard battery and lo and behold the charger now 'sees' the odyssey and happily charges it. I have also tried the same and removed
the jump leads immediately the charger sees the batteries and it goes on charging the odyssey. That works too but overall I suspect the
battery's goosed.
Too slow!
