Which battery optimiser??

The current (!) one has given up the ghost.
Opening it up there's about 50p worth of electronics inside it but probably parts are unobtainable.
Before I lash out on a new one can anyone recommend how to DIY and/or which one to buy if that's not possible.
It needs to do car and m/cycle batteries, 12 and 6V.
Thanks, Pewe10

Lidl and Aldi both do a battery charger similar to Optimate but perhaps without all the features and the hefty price tag. I have used the Lidl one, branded 'Ultimate Speed' on motorcycle, standard car and Red top batteries with no problems.

Hi, ho, hi ho it's off to Lidl we go.
Thanks for the tip Dusty and BTW your avatar looks as if it needs mustard on it otherwise it'll taste a bit furry!
Cheers, Pewe10
