what ignition's coil is?
Hi guys,
I'm owner of a Sylva Striker ZX-12R and I write from Italy.
I've a question on behalf of a friend of mine who is building an Escort MK1 with a Cosworth 2.2 n/a engine...I know this is not the right forum
but I think someone here can answers to my question.
He would like to know from which car this ignition's coil plug comes to search the right coil pack.

That part number on the side looked suspiciously like a VAG part number, and a quick Google search brings back this;

If you do another Google search you might find a reference that is a bit more specific.

That is the plug from a Mk2 1.8 Golf distributor, not the ignition coil.
