oil pressure switch / fuel pump

Here we go 1700 x flow been running spot on had it booked for its test today but had to cancel, fitted a new oil pressure switch which activates the fuel pump and then this morning it decided not to work.
starter keeps runnung or trys as if your turning the key or the oil light stays on, checked the pump and the pressure relief valve, relay fault ?
Should i just fit the std oil pressure switch and inertia switch for the fuel pump, a small set back but look at theweather today.
its a 1700 x-flow with a premire wiring loom,

Think about it, think about it again and then do it.

Safer to fit an inertia switch which will cut the fuel pump in the event of an accident whereas an oil pressure operated pump may keep the engine running when you don't want it to. Can't think of any cars now in production that use an oil pressure operated pump.
