Projector headlights on my Xtreme

I bought some single unit projector (dip and main in one) from Russbost

http://furoreproducts.co.uk/headlights/112-photon-projector-combined-dip-main-beam-headlight.html

all in all I am pleased with them.. I did straight away swap the standard bulb for a Halfords Extreme version..

dipped beam is pretty good, but main is the same brightness as there is only one 55w H1 bulb with some more light vertically.

In kit car terms, on my previous Xtreme I used to run with 2 extra main beams, so I was a bit spoilt and I will probably add a couple more to this one too.

service from russ was great and I think as others have mentioned on here, the only minor complaint would be that the wires come out of the back, rather than down where the mounting bracket it.

as it was:

all in all I like them and they are staying put (even though I bought these ones due to the previous ones being really dull tho when I went to swap them I realised the previous owner had earthed them through the blue light on the dash!)

Love the colour of your car BTW, one of the nicest I've seen.
I've used the twin photons on mine, also from Russ and also had great service.
I've used unslit sleeving to take the wires out the back, widened the hole in the big rubber grommet and used a load of silicone sealant. At some point I will probably turn up some ally caps to replace the grommet and make it look neater, but that's a winter job once it's on the road.

I did take them apart to have a look inside, and you could fairly easily run the wires out of the bottom drain hole, or drill a new hole, I reckon, if you wanted to hide the wiring.
