Headlight Query

On my roadster I have the headlights shown in the picture below.






As you can see on the pictures, the drivers side headlight doesn't appear to be level (See the markings on the lense) and sits different to the passenger one - but the locking screw on the top of the light indicates that it is in the correct position.

Should the markings on the lense sit level like the passenger one?
I don't want to fail my IVA because of a wonky beam pattern.

The whole light may be rotated on the ball at the bottom. Or if you take the screw out the glass is held in to the bezel with a spring.

They where both level so I am guessing the light has got knocked and has rotated on the ball.

Edit they still need setting up after the brackets where shortened. Its a case of setting the beam on a wall with a tape measure.
