How to assemble headlights?
Hi!
I have what I think are Hella headlights, without assembly instructions. I think I understand how to assemble it all except for a thing: what seems
like some clips.
 
Headlamps
In the picture you can see me holding one of those. What are they for? The headlamps had a bag with some 6 per lamp.

Those are headlight bezel clips, they actually clip into the grove round the bezel holding the lamp unit in place within the bezel, the bezel is then
clipped onto the headlamp bowl and a screw holds it all together.
See link below but if you imagin the lamp sitting where the rubber seal is.
Depends through on the bowl design, most I've see use instead a clamp on ring to secure the lamp. Only my classic beetle used the clips
