Cant communicate with Megajolt
I cant get my pc to talk to my megajolt, ive tried several cables and several usb to serial adapters its just not having it,
the reason i want to look at it is my Acewell dash is reading my RPM about 1200 RPM higher than it is, and occasionally 200rpm without the engine
running
Ideas guys

I am sure Pekwah1 had the same problem, but not sure how he fixed it, (if he did)
Your not set up for 6 cylinders or something like that are you?
Thats was probably spelt wrong, or had some grammer, that the "grammer police have to have a moan at

What cables have you tried?
Did any of the cables come with a driver CD or are you using other drivers from the web?

I think you have to configure the USB to be port 1 if you are using a usb to serial

I have an old laptop with a serial port - been keeping it for when I get my megasquirt installed, your welcome to borrow it if you run out of ideas
with usb convertors.
I will try & plug it in tomorrow to make sure it still works.

Only problem I have ever had is with COM port
Either its floating and changes ever time or is using a COM port number higher than 10
