Lightweight 40 amp Denso Alternator codes
Just thinking about dumping the great charging lump off my XE engine in favour of one of these pretty Nippon 40 amp versions.
I'd like to save a bit of cash though and wondered if anyone has a specific codes for the one that other people have used or even the SBD
version?
Or failing that which car has them fitted?

You need to look at the Diahatsu for the small denso think its the sirion or charade car. Theres one on eBay now for 25 quid.
Some look at using them off Kubota diggers, but some of these are only rated for low RPM.

If you do get a Kubato version, you could increase the pulley size to underdrive it. Would mean less draw on the engine power also - squeeze out an
extra 0.01hp!
