Bright 6 + Zetec - Oil Warning light

How do I wire up the bright 6 Oil warning light on my zetec ?

There's the standard sender on the o/s side of the block - is this a negative switch or can I put a positive into this ?

I'm unsure how I can test this ?

I'm sure the bright 6 needs a positive feed into the warning light - does this mean I'll need to run this through a relay?

Any ideas?

Don't think so. Not on a Pinto anyway. My pressure switch connects to block earth and there is a +ve feed to the bright module. If there's only one connector on your switch it's got to be an earthing switch.

I'm addicted to brake fluid, but I can stop anytime.

Yes the oem switch is just a switch to earth.

Ie no oil pressure and the switch is closed and the low oil pressure light is on.

Crank the engine and build pressure and the switch opens and breaks the circuit and the light goes out.

Stop cranking the engine and the pressure drops and the light comes back on again.
