Headlight Wiring...
Two quick wiring questions...
1. When you switch on dipped headlights, should the sidelights go off (I believe not)?
2. When you switch on main beam, should the dipped lights go off (I believe this is yes)?

1) No
2) Depends on the bulbs. If it's a single bulb with both filaments in, then yes. If you have separate main and dip lights, then either way is
fine.

1. Yes, side should stay on with headlights on.
2. Depends.
If you have single dip/main units (using a twin filament H4 bulb) then only one filament should be lit. If not the bulb will soon overheat.
If you have twin lamps (one dip, one main per side with a single filament H7 bulb each) then the dip can stay on when main beam is on.
