Ms2 megasquirt problems
I've had a mtech v4 Ecu sat on a bench for a couple of years and now the car is ready to fire up so wired it up and I'm getting all the
sensors working apart from the vr and it won't see it on either channel . When I bought it I set it up on the bench and wrote a basic setup for
my engine which had a 36-2 wheel and factory sensor which I'm getting a normal ac output .
I'm wondering if the previous guy screwed something up and sent 12v down one of the coil or injector outputs ?? I'm not very sharp with
electronics and it's a surface mount board that looks nothing like a normal Ms board . Would that scenario do some damage as I can see two
little potentiometers on the board which I assume are for messing with the vr input signals . Any help or direction to someone who can test and repair
this would be a great help as I'm loathed to bin it for a few pence worth of bits , cheers
