Wiper motor to sierra column
Hi
Can anyone help me?
I have a lucas 2 speed wiper motor and I was wondering if I can wire it into the sierra column switch and still get it to park.
Thanks
Keith

Why not?
It should park anyway, the mechanism is in the motor not the switch.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

You can get it to work 2 speed, intermittant wipe and park if you use the Sierra switch and relay. I cheated and used a Premier wiring loom. I'm
sure I've seen a diagram on either SVC web page or some other kit site, worth a search. Failing that give Premier Wiring a call, top bloke might
help you out.

I used a premier loom as well , using a Lucas 2 speed motor and Sierra switch's is no problem. Think the robin hood site gives details of the
motor connections. Hope this helps , Rusty

As I said earlier.
The mini wiper, which I assume you have, doesn't have a seperate wire it has a limit inside to keep the current open till the wiper reaches the
down position. Here's a diagram of it . If it isn't a mini one or it's a very early mini which didn't have a self park I
can't help.
