Rover K alternator + ecu question
So 2 questions regarding Rover K engine... coming out of an 45.
1) the ECu has 2 plugs, 1 going to the engine and 1 to the interior. Does anyone have the diagram for the the latter one... Since I'm guessing I
only need the wire(s) from the RFID (fob) reader thingy
2) Throwing away the non essentials I now have to reroute the belt to suit just an alternator... can I find pieces for that or it needs to be custom
?

Re:the alternator. You can use all the bracketry off a non-A/C model which I guess is what you mean? It moves the alternator position slightly but the
belt will be an off the shelf item for a non-A/C model. It's what I did with my MGF engine.
I have all the wiring diagrams somewhere, if you get stuck, give me a nudge.

Do you have a part number on the alternator?

I'll get back to you on that...
it's a 2001 1.6rover45.
But If I can't find a bracket... I'll just make one

this is the back of the alternator
So it's a bosch 0124225011
Also I managed to find some RAVE CD's on a landy group, I'm hoping the freelander 1.8 is close enough.
(couldn't download at t-bar without an account)
