Any recomendations?
Also how does an intank mount?

It screws on the end of the suction tube which is usually part of the tank level sensor unit , Rover use them on some models. I think the 800 series
has one held by a ring of small screws but the 200/400 use a Smiths bayonnet ring fitting.
Not sure about the 600 series.
The 800 tank unit is about the correct depth for a Locost tank --- easy to removeby unscrewing a plate under the rear seat.

I found an illustration of the Rover 600 unit I will scan it in later, it looks ideal, held on by 6 bolts both flow and return lines fit on to it ---
flow has nice banjo fitting, suction has a nice sock filter. Fuel gauge sender is not part of unit.
Output at pump on a new unit is 0.23 litres in 10 seconds, max presure is 330 kpa

Accord to the book on the 600 the tank needs dropped, try an off the shelf breaker they might be glad to get rid of one 600 parts don't move
fast because they are so reliable.
