Furore headlamps
Bought these headlamps but then I realised that the rubber does not really fit and the whole headlamp is not waterproof:

Anybody had any experience? Have you seen any cases I could use for these lamps?
Or, any proven headlamps for kit cars that are not just regular Dominator lamps?
Thanks!

Personally I'd have a hole in the bottom of them anyway to let any water out Their going to get very hot inside and any moisture inside would
be driven off.
Can you not use a little bit of silicon gasket sealant?

Thanks, that is some idea with the hole for the water. I haven't thought about it this way, although slightly uncomfortable with with water and
electric wirings.

The whole front end of those lights is entirely weatherproof, the rear end carries only the 12v feed wiring & hence the requirement for the
protective rubber boot, the boots should be secured with a cable tie or cut down for a tight fit & can be sealed with silicon sealant if required,
you have to make a hole in the boots for cable entry anyway & this should be at the bottom to allow for drainage.
I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator
headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names
furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours.
