Ford Zetec coilpack to MX5??
Guys I cant seem to find the answer.
I "borrowed" the coil pack from No1 son's Puma Zetec before it went to the scrappie and now want to fit it to the hairdressers since
it lunched its coilpack.
I'm pretty sure I know how to wire it (both have three wires) but could always do with confirmation.
I now have the problem that the Mazda plug leads don't fit into the Ford coilpack.
Mazda's a 1991 NA Mk1 1.6
Any suggestions gratefully received.
Stay well and healthy people.
Cheers, Pewe

Coil packs are usually similar, the 3 wire plug is usual left in for left coil right in for right coil. If it came off a Puma the Puma or any Ford
leads will fit, plugs is plugs and have the same ends usually

Thanks, Snapper. I'll give the wiring a try.
The plug leads unfortunately aren't the same plugging into the coilpack - slightly different diameter, plus Maz are angled
In fact Ford ends are available at about £8 the set but when postage etc are addded £21.
I might as well bite the bullet and buy a replacement Maz coilpack for c.£80 that way at last I'll know it should be relable.
