Thermo Switch Question
The running temperature of the car is 90 degrees. I'm looking for a suitable thermo switch M22 x 1.5 to install in a stainless top pipe into a
welded on threaded boss in the but most of the switches I've come across operate at temperatures lower than the 90 degree running temperature
and surely if any of these were fitted the fan would be on all the time. I would have thought 95 degrees cutting in would be fine but am I missing
something?
Intermotor used to publish a catalogue listing their switches and operating temperatures but that seems to has disappeared. Any advice would be
gratefully accepted.
Thank you.
