Savage Fog Switch

Anyone wired up one of the Savage fog light switches?

It has

N/C x 2
N/O x 2
Common x 2
Led +
Led -

To start I connected by input and output to one set of the N/C and N/O and an earth to one of the common connections . As soon as I turn lights on it then blows the fuse every time!!!

If I touch the fog in and out wires the light illuminates so not prob with that, just can't work out what is wrong!

Cheers Ben

If it's the standalone switch with 6 switch (made up of 2 x 3pin switches) pushed on the back, then I've several in my car.

Basically, the centre one is a common feed, 2 either side of it are push to break or push to make.

So put one of the 2 wires you connected to make the lamp light up to the centre connection, and the other to the push to make connection.

This is probably clear as mud....

your earth should go to led -

input to common nearest n/o

output to n/o

that should do it...
