Electric Fuel Pump

Should the electric fuel pump stop when the engine stops. Mine stops and starts with the ignition key. Just a thought before SVA. If it should stop with the engine were do I take the live from. I used a premier wiring loom and that allows the pump to be key operated.
Is it me just been silly and worrying over nothing.

It was yesterday with those bloody bulbs. Everwhere I went didn't have any with the correct wattage. (It must be a Motorbike thing) I ended up changing the rear bulbs as well they were only 5Watt.
I phoned the SVA man today,as I was not happy with the beam pattern on the dip beam. but he said it will be fine. I found out this morning that the van I need to tow the trailer is now busy. (Not for long if I get my way).
