Hydraulic Brake Light Switch

My brakes light switch (midget hydraulic) has stopped working , can they be fixed /cleaned , or is a replacement needed?

It was new when I built the car but probably seized through lack of use..........

Strange they are generally 99.99999999% reliable much more so than pedal operated switches.
