In need of Megajolt?
---I have U2U'd Paulf, and he has authorised me to add this thread.

Who is in need of Megajolt?
http://picasso.org/mjlj/
Paulf orders the PCBs and parts from the states, assembles and tests them. This costs around £75 for the alloy case setup for a throttle pot. For a
MAP sensor its an extra £25, so in all your looking at around £100 depending on interest (economies of scale). He would like at least 5 people to be
interested, the more the better though!

Why would you pay £25 for a sensor, when you can get it for free?

You can order free samples at www.freescale.com
It is absolutely free, you don't even have to pay shipping costs.
I ordered some, and 3 days later the package arrived.
You can also get free samples of the microprocessor which is used on the megasquirt.

I was aware of that and got a few samples but dont think it advisable to keep requesting them as im sure they will catch on .There is a uk supplier
selling them for about £25 and i would just be fitting them at cost.
To make it worthwhile for me, i need to build at least 6 units to get the costs low.The processors are easily obtainable and I built myself a
programmer for flashing them with the boot loader.

Just seen the posting about the new v3 board and think it looks worth waiting for, but will need to check on costs and delivery. The 12v tach signal
and TPS connections are worth having and the output driver configartion now appears to be a chip instead of seperate transistors which is better.
