shes turning but no fire.

Ok those who have helped so far with wiring pre start....the quest moves on........I would like help....................which direction would the rotor arm be facing to be in position no 1 (on cap) with number 1 piston tdc and mark on pulley 4 degrees . ....side entry cap and imagine looking down on the cap....therefore 12 oclock would be arm facing top and 6 oclock facing oil filter..sorry if its 6 year old speak............I did get a flame from the exhast earlier on and thought oooooooops that s not right...crossflow engine...

you need too find out what position your valves are at it may be firing on no.4 instead no.1 so 4 would be on compression and 1 would be on exhaust hence the flame from pipe, timing out 180 degrees maybe

Blimey long time since i worked on a crossflow if im wrong chaps just hola
Take off rocker cover, turn engine over till rockers on no 4 are rocking both rockers on no 1 should have a gap, engine firing on 1 fit dizzy, should be a notch on casing align rotor arm with that then do the leads to firing order
