Versanuts!

Anybody used these in their kit car builts? They look like the ideal way to put a threaded insert into a thin sheet of ally or fibreglass etc

http://www.zygology.com/newproducts/newproducts.asp#z200

I called Zygology and they only sell them in a min of 200 pieces (approx £46 + vat). Anyone interested in sharing a purchase, I only need twenty or so!

I'd be interested in anyone knows of a place that sells them in lower quantities

Cheers

Paul

I bought a load of rivets from Zygology and the nose piece for the setting tool to set them (Avdel Monobolts).

They delivered pretty quickly, but didn't want to sell me a small quantity (minimum 1000 if I recall correctly).

As for the versanuts, I would still put a large diameter washer between the bit that deforms outwards on the back side, just to spread the load. as much as possible....

Cheers
Andy

Dammit! Too many decisions....
