Acewell Fuel Guage + 100 Ohm Sender

Hi,

Anyone out there tried using an Acewell dash with the fuel guage? I have a 100ohm sender unit but am having difficulty getting the correct reading. Any help appreciated. Can I check the fuel sender easily by measuring the resistance across its terminals at various positions on the rheostat?

Thanks

I've got an acewell gauge as well the tacho seems ok but both the speedo and fuel gauge are all over the place. I've not looked into it yet as i've had other problems/mods to deal with. I had put it down to either a poor earth or emc interferance from the tach feed.

how does the speedo read on yours is erratic as well?

I am not a number!

100mph with no bodywork or brakes to test the speedo is currently not an option! I will let you know once I am in a position to test the speedo.

Thanks
