ignitor?
hi all, does anybody know, if I fit an ignitor system to my 2lt pinto distributor, do I do away with the motorcraft amplifier?

Yes but you will need to get a points distributor to fit it to. The ignitor module won't go in either version of the electronic distributor. If
you have the electronic set up with no vac feed to the electronics module keep it it is as good as the aldon sett up

thanks for your reply, I do have the points distributor and it seams ok with very little side to side play, so I think this systen with the ignitor
will be very easy to set up and very reliable as in fewer parts to go wrong.
